Play Therapy
What is Play Therapy?
Play therapy is a valuable approach that helps children explore and express their feelings as they navigate their life experiences. Many children find it challenging to articulate their thoughts and emotions, which is where play therapy shines. It allows them to communicate in alternative ways, utilising the natural process of play to foster understanding and healing. This therapeutic method creates a safe space for children to make sense of their world.
What to expect in the sessions.
Individual 1-1 therapy sessions.
Your child will be allocated a space at the same time and place each week. Sessions last for 45 minutes.
During the sessions they will have access to a range of materials including, paint, clay, sand, arts and crafts, puppets and therapeutic stories.
Who can it help?
